Quinta do Silval has operated its Rural Hotel since 2005, a 14-room wine hotel par excellence and one of the first hotels built in the heart of the Douro Region. The hotel still preserves the architecture and materials typical of the Douro construction, such as the century-old Casa da Quinta do Silval, that laid the basis for the Rural Hotel of Quinta do Silval. <\/p>\n
Although the Hotel d\u00e9cor has not lost its rural character, it adds romanticism to each room, like Port Wine itself. <\/p>\n
You can take part in wine tastings at the Hotel\u2019s wine shop, and enjoy home-made Portuguese meals at the Sabores do Silval Restaurant. For the more spirited, the Hotel also offers various types of programmes \u2013 on foot, bicycle, boat and jeep. We recommend the countryside picnics or simply admiring the magnificent Douro terraces from the scenic swimming-pool. <\/p>\n
